Home Team Plan

HOME TEAMS provide a place to connect in meaningful relationships and to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through deeper study of God's Word. The body of Christ must provide a balance of teaching, identification and sharing experiences of our daily lives with Jesus Christ.

A HOME TEAM meeting is where all the team members of the church get together and truly CARE for one another. CARE reflects the 4 key elements that are important in a HOME TEAM. They are:

C onnection: Connecting relationally and spiritually with other believers.

A doration: Worship and prayer.

R eflection: Reflection on the Sunday morning message and Scripture memorization of key texts.

E ncouragement: Providing an atmosphere for nurture and growth.

HOME TEAMS emphasize the importance of each person and their special unique contribution to the body of Christ. The emphasis is on sharing to promote what the Scripture calls Koinonia, which means fellowship. Literally translated, Koinonia means to have all things in common. HOME TEAMS are places where individual needs (spiritual, emotional and physical) can be readily seen and taken care of by other HOME TEAM members.

We believe that it is extremely important that small groups are operating with the same goals and structure. Training sessions for Home Team are given periodically. Please contact the church office. 949-496-7411.

Meets Thursday from 7:00 to 8:45 pm

Location:  243 Via Rancho, San Clemente

We start with fellowship, refreshments and open discussions.  We then spend time in prayer, share praise reports, worship, and study God’s Word and the message from the previous Sunday.  We end in prayer and give everyone an opportunity to share prayer requests.  We believe small groups are about glorifying God, drawing closer to Him and each other.  We want to buildup and encourage each other, which leads to creating close intimate relationships.
