INTRODUCTION:
A. Ezekiel was taken in a vision were he saw dry bones (Ezekiel 37). A vision that Israel would come again into the land
B. May 14, 1948 came back into the land
C. Genesis 12 sets the stage for us
D. Whose right is it to tell us what rights we have?
E. Some Facts
1. The land belongs to God - (Levitcus 25)
2. God gave it to Abraham and his descendents. (Gen 12:1ff)
3. It is an unconditional covenant (Genesis 17:6)
a. The Covenant of Moses was conditional while the Covenant of Abraham is unconditional.
b. Psalm 89:30-37
4. It was to one part of Abraham's decendent andnot the other.
a. It normally was upon the first born
b. God gave it to Isaac instead
5. It went to Jacob (Got the blessing to occupy the land) and not Esau (first-born who sold his birth-right)
6. The land upon which you lie will be upon you and your descendents
7. Name changed to Israel and the promise again to you the promise is repeated so much so that Moses was told to go and take the land that I promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
