Phil Hodge, President and Chairman of the Board

Phil Hodge is currently the President and Chairman of the Board of Ocean Hills Community Church (OHCC).  He and his wife Robin were married in 1975 and have continuously attended OHCC since 1986.  They have two daughters Kelly (25) and Katherine (23).  Initially Phil served as an usher, became Head Deacon, was elected to the BOD, and has served on the BOD for the last 15 years as a director and at times the chairman. Robin has continuously served in the hospitality and children’s ministries for the last twenty years.  Phil is the CEO of a professional staffing company, SOLVERE, in San Clemente.

Chuck Fromm

Chuck Fromm, PhD, Treasurer of the Board

Chuck Fromm is the Publisher of Worship Leader magazine, Song DISCovery and The Worshiper magazine. The former owner of Maranatha! Music, Chuck served for more than 25 years as President of that company where he was a visionary leader instrumental in developing the Praise Series, the Kids Praise Series, Psalms Alive! & The Words of Worship, and the Gospel of John illustrated by the acclaimed artist Rick Griffen. Recognized for his many contributions to the Christian Music Industry, he was given the Presidents Award in 1991 by the National Religious Broadcasters and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1990 from the Gospel Music Association. He continues to make significant contributions to the Christian music community—most recently through the completion of his doctoral dissertation entitled: Textual Communities and New Song in the Multi Media Age: The Routinization of Charisma in the Jesus Movement. He resides in Southern California with his wife Stephanie and his five amazing children. Chuck’s involvement throughout his entire adult life in churches brings a unique perspective and insight to the board of directors of Ocean Hills Church.

Stig Einarson

Stig Einarson, Founding Member of the board, Lead Elder

Stig Einarson, an artist in every sense of the word, is considered the founding member of Ocean Hills Community Church as it began in his home in 1978. His studies have ranged from the classical Scandinavian masters of his homeland to the Art Center College of Design here in California. He has developed a syncretism in his work with attitudes and approaches that reflect both the old and new worlds, a theme grounded by his love for the Word of God, whose message of redemption and love is consistently woven through both the Old and New Testaments. Stig and his wife of forty years, Annette, along with their two children, David and Jeanette, have demonstrated their love for Ocean Hills Community Church in their continued service since its inception.

Doug DiSiena

Doug DiSiena, Member of the Board

Dr. DiSiena operates a private health and wellness practice in Irvine, California. He is a health & wellness expert, lecturing at chiropractor colleges and several times a year for the Possibility Living Seminars with Dr. Robert A. Schuller where he has addressed over 3, 200 health-minded participants since 1995. According to the people who work with Dr. DiSiena, it's apparent that he plays a very active role with his family. His wife, children, and parents are the loves of his life. The DiSiena's are very close-knit and set examples as fine role models with their “hands on” parenting, and, most importantly, their respect and love for each other. The church community is also very important to the DiSiena family and Doug’s participation on the board of directors is esteemed by him as an honor and a privilege and he takes the responsibility very seriously.
