Each ministry offers an opportunity to get more involved with our church, make new friends, utilize your spiritual gifts, and grow closer to the Lord.

Where can you serve?

  • Media Team: You don’t need a technical background in order to be in this ministry. All you need is a willing heart and a desire to learn. All positions are easily learned. The Media Team Ministry believes in utilizing the latest technology to spread the Gospel message. Through the use of video, webcasting, and the internet, the media team produces and archives ministry events for outreach to the world.
    Current Needs: Easyworship, Webcasting, Camera Operators
  • Kidznet: Children’s Ministries is the teaching ministry for children from nursery through 5th grade. We hold a high value of teaching the Bible in creative and relevant age appropriate ways. As our Sunday school grows, we are not only are we looking for teachers and greeters, but talented people for music, skits and set design. We are a committed team in CM made up of volunteers passionate about making an impact on children lives for God’s Kingdom. Each member brings their God-given ability he or she has and uses it to serve the children.     Current Needs: Kidznet Teachers
  • Maintenance: Work Day Join us the third saturday of each month for a church work day starting at 8-11:30 am. We need your help vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the church campus. There is plenty to do and a great time of fellowship with the body.
    Current Needs: Ocean Hills Studio Construction / Workday Workers
  • Security team: serve during all main services at Ocean. The purpose of this ministry is to secure the church campus and to oversee the general safety of those attending services. The Security Team helps to make Ocean a safer and more convenient place for people to fellowship at.
  • Usher Team: Ushers serve our church body in the Sanctuary and they create the first impression people receive as they arrive. They greet and escort individuals to their seats and make room for others.
  • Hospitality: The Bible says in 1 Peter 4:8-10 “and above all things have fervent love for one another, for ‘love will cover a multitude of sins.’ Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” If you are fun, excited and want to help connect people to Jesus and to the community life of our church then the connection team is for you!!!
    Current Needs: Serving Sunday morning coffee & donuts, Wednesday Night Dinner, Meals for those in need.
