 Imagine spending your entire life unable to move unless you crawled or were carried by a family member. For thousands of disabled men, women and children worldwide, wheelchairs are often too expensive — or just not available. In partnership with the Free Wheelchair Mission, OBI is giving the freedom of movement to disabled people in Ethiopia. Each wheelchair is inexpensively assembled from ready-made parts such as plastic chairs, mountain bike tires, and seat cushions. A gift of just $65 will provide one wheelchair, or a gift of $130 will provide the gift of mobility to two people in need. Suggested Gift: $65 or $130 |
