Jim Nicol was originally born in Edinburgh, where he grew up in the small town of Shotts located in the hard working industrial belt of central Scotland. After running a successful Boiler company (Nicol Boilers) he moved to California in 2005.

Jim is married to his lovely wife Caroline.  They have three Children together, Kimberly, Chris, and Bethany.  Jim and Caroline are currently foster parents to Brhanu Haptu, an eight year old boy from Ethiopia.

Billy grew up in Northern California in the small town of Morgan Hill.  He attended Cal Baptist University in Riverside where he learned his passion for worship.  Billy loves to play the drums and guitar as he spends time writing new worship songs and spending time with the Lord.

Kevin has been part of the Ocean Hills youth ministry for the last 5 years.  Starting out as a volunteer, Kevin is now our High School Pastor.  Kevin attended Cal Baptist University where he got a degree in English.  Kevin is married to his wife Kelly and they have an energetic daughter named Kasey.  Kevin and Kelly are currently expecting a new addition in June! (A boy…)

Chris Frazer is a student at UCI in Physics.  When he is not preparing to be a rocket scientist, (no literally a rocket scientist), Chris spends his time as our Jr. High Pastor.  He is the most energetic, most engaging Jr. High Pastor around.

Joy has been a part of the Ocean Hills family for four years, and served as Women’s Ministry director for two.  Joy has a passion for God’s word; and took an active role in a   teaching and leadership position for over 27 years from toddlers, through Junior High and High School.  Joy draws much of her experience from the 30 years as an Air Force military spouse to Ric her husband of 35 years.  She served on several Officers’ Wives Board and volunteer positions during their tour in Military Service.  Joy has taken several Precept Training and leadership courses.  In addition to her teaching experience, Joy has overseen several women’s events and retreats, including the first “All Services Women’s Military Retreat.”  Joy is the mother of Shaun and Sarah, and her puppy, “Baby”.

With a heart for God, and a passion for people, Angie has served at the Ocean Hills Bookstore for the past 2 1/2 years. Leaving behind a career as an advertising professional in 2002, Angie relocated from San Diego to San Clemente. That year she got married and began work as a health and fitness instructor at a club in Dana Point. It was there that Angie met her new friend, Jan Chapper of the Jesus Film Project. It was Jan who later introduced Angie to Ocean Hills Church. Angie, always in search of all that’s real, found the truth in the Word of God, being taught by the Pastor’s at Ocean Hills. She has been a part of the church body ever since.
