Who We Are
Started in 1979, we have been ministering to the community of San Juan Capistrano for 30 years. Ocean Hills Community Church is a fellowship of believers who gather for the purpose of knowing and glorifying Jesus Christ. Our great desire is to closely follow His direction and purpose for this fellowship. As OHCC is expanding, so is our vision. We are a fellowship that is in constant process and development by God.

•An Ocean Of Forgiveness:
We want to be known as an “Ocean of Forgiveness,” whatever you may have done, regardless of your background, color or creed, God loves you and wants to forgive your sins through the death of His Son Jesus Christ at Calvary.
•A House of Prayer and Worship:
Prayer with our precious Savior is crucial to survival in the world in which we live. Every move we make must be bathed in prayer and worship.
•A Center for Evangelism:
Our Church must be used to its full capacity. Teaching God’s Word is central to all activity. Our passion is to spread the gospel throughout the area and indeed even to our mission’s activities on the other side of the world.
About Our Logo
Have you ever looked at our Ocean Hills logo and wondered, “What does that mean?” Well most logos tell a story and represent something of importance about the organization. And the logo for Ocean Hills Church does both. A logo is a design element that seeks to express the identity of an organization. Our logo containsmultiple elements that, together, symbolize the ministry and identity of Ocean Hills Church.
There are 3 primary elements to our logo and we wanted to share them with you:
• The logo is bordered by an oval which represents the letter “O” in Ocean Hills. Because it is a continuous circle it also expresses the infinite nature of God, which has no beginning or end, and the reality that He encircles everything we do at Ocean Hills.
• The triangular shapes within the oval represent the pages of Scripture and take on the look of ocean waves which are found along the coastline close to where our church sits. The trishapes also provide a sense of movement and dimension to the image, representing the idea of a growing, active ministry that moves beyond its own borders.
• The threefold aspect of this logo represents the threefold ministry mission and philosophy of Ocean Hills Church: Love God, Love People, Live Psalm One.
