Friday, July 22, 2005 - 6:30-9:30 pm Silver Boxes: The Gift of Encouragement... featuring Florence Littauer in the Ocean Hills Sanctuary.

We enjoyed an uplifting evening with nationally renowned speaker and author, Florence Littauer, as she shared on the gift of encouragement through her stories and examples. We learned to deal with the hurt of discouraging words and to lift up others by giving them encouraging words, "Little Silver Boxes with Bows on Top."

What an incredible event this was for all of us. Once again, I want to thank the steering committee, table hostesses and everyone else that were involved in the planning, setup and service during this landmark event.

I want you to also know how pleased I am that God continues to deepen my love for each one of you as we together seek to minister to the women in our church and community. I am truly looking forward to life and ministry with each one of you as we together discover God's call in our lives.
